• Robin Lewis

    Robin Lewis is the founder and CEO of The Robin Report. He is an author, speaker, and consultant for the retail and consumer products industries.

    Previously, he was Vice President at Goldman Sachs, where he developed and launched a global retail consulting practice. Prior to Goldman Sachs, as Vice President and Executive Editor of Women’s Wear Daily. Earlier in his career he held executive positions in strategic planning, business development, and brand and marketing management at DuPont, VF Corporation and Grey Advertising.

    He is frequently requested by C-level management for advice, consultation and strategic presentations: among them are Bloomingdale’s, JC Penney, Macy’s, VF Corp, Kohl’s, Charming Shoppes, Estee Lauder, Iconix, Footlocker, and Ralph Lauren, as well as financial firms such as The Carlyle Group, Goldman Sachs and others.

    He is the co-author of The New Rules of Retail, published by Palgrave-McMillan, and is often quoted in various trade and consumer publications such as Women’s Wear Daily, Time Magazine, Chicago Sun Times, New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Brand Week, and Advertising Age, as well as appearing on CNBC, ABC, CBS and Fox News.

    He served on the Board of Directors for the Fashion Group International, and on the Advisory Board of New Zealand Trade and Enterprise, and has served on the Board of Governors for the Fashion Institute of Technology and Parson’s School of Design. His also an adjunct Professor for FIT’s Global Fashion Management Program.

    Deborah Patton is an innovator in strategic marketing and communications, including marketing planning, advertising, brand positioning, event production, creative services and communications.  She also develops and produces unique executive meetings and thought leadership conferences on global trends and sustainability as well as top-level industry-specific awards shows and summits. She has had in-depth experience in the luxury, entertainment, media & marketing, teen, menswear, shelter, bridal, packaged goods, finance and pop culture markets. In addition to COO of The Robin Report, she is Founder and Executive Director of Applied Brilliance, LLC, a thought leadership advisory consortium that explores and presents emerging trends and cultural paradigm shifts.

  • Judith Russell

    Chief Strategy Officer Judith Russell is a marketing and strategic planning consultant with 30 years of experience in the retail apparel industry. She began her career at Dupont, where she spent a decade in marketing and planning for the company’s man-made fibers divisions, then moved to strategic planning positions at apparel retailer J. Crew and private label jewelry manufacturer Andin International before launching her own consulting practice. She has consulted for Kohl’s, Walmart, Calvin Klein, Fairchild Publications, Cotton Incorporated, and many other companies in the sector. She writes frequently on industry trends and issues in Sourcing Journal Online and The Robin Report, and is frequently quoted in other trade and business publications. Russell holds a degree in French from the State University of NY and an MBA from the Stern School of Business. She is based in Scarsdale, New York.
