Michael Tamte

Michael Tamte is the co-founder and co-CEO of Evereve, one of the fastest growing fashion retailers with nearly $200 million in annual revenues. In 2004 he teamed with his wife and business partner, Megan Tamte, to open the first Evereve store in Edina, MN. Over the next 17 years he led the effort to expand from one store to nearly 100 stores in 28 states and continues to select store locations. In 2005, only a few months after opening the company’s first store, he launched and ran the company’s ecommerce channel, and in 2015 he developed Evereve’s online personal styling service, Trendsend. The company’s digital channels currently represent over 30% of the company’s total sales. Michael also initiated Evereve’s charitable charter to donate 1% of the company’s sales, resulting in nearly $10 million being donated to charities since the company’s formation. Michael also designed the company’s financial model. With only $2 million in raised capital, Evereve is forecasted to earn over $1 billion in life-to-date revenues by the end of 2021 and has earned an operating profit in each year of the company’s existence. Michael also serves as the company’s chairman of the board and led all financing rounds including the latest with its current private equity partner, Winona Capital. Michael is a non-active CPA. He dropped out of MBA school to start Evereve with Megan and quit his other full-time job soon after.
