Tony Spring is an executive vice president of Macy’s, Inc. and chairman and chief executive officer of Bloomingdale’s. In his role, he oversees all facets of Bloomingdale’s and Bluemercury brands, including merchandising, marketing, operations, stores and online. Prior to being appointed to his current position, he served as president and chief operating officer of Bloomingdale’s from 2008-2014, assuming responsibility of Bloomingdale’s stores, company marketing, creative services, finance, operations, and restaurants.
Tony serves as the board chair for the National Retail Federation Foundation (NRFF) in addition to serving the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) and the Hospital for Special Surgery Advisory Boards. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Cornell University
